We proudly led and hosted three sessions at the European Business & Nature Summit in Helsinki, 23-24 October. We showcased how the finance community is stepping up to halt and reverse nature loss through two dynamic sessions, plus a public policy side event.

️Day 1 | 16:30 – 17:50 EEST | From Pledge to Action: Advancing finance for biodiversity
Anita de Horde, CEO of Finance for Biodiversity, took the plenary stage to share new insights from the Finance for Biodiversity Pledge Impact Report on how members and signatories are advancing their nature-based commitments. We also coordinated a high-level panel to discuss the challenges and opportunities in the finance sector.

Day 2 | 11:30 – 13:00 EEST | Transforming Corporate Engagement: How Investors Can Drive Nature Action
Peter Elwin, Director of Engagement and Research, Finance for Biodiversity, led a technical panel with investors and expert guests to explore how financial institutions can engage companies to drive nature-positive action, tackling key challenges, emerging opportunities, and examples of collaborative investor initiatives.

EBNS Side Event: Progress of EU and Member States’ Nature Finance Policies
We organised an informal views exchange on the “Progress of EU & Member States’ Nature Finance Policies” on Thursday, 23th of October, at 13:30. This closed doors, by-invitation only meeting was an EBNS side-event and was reserved for policymakers and for financial institutions members of the FfB Foundation, led by Natacha Boric, Head of Policy and Positive Impact, FfB Foundation.
