Roel Nozeman

Roel Nozeman is a sustainability professional with over 15 years of experience working at the crossroads of finance and nature. He is Nature Lead at NN Group and Programme Director of the Partnership for Biodiversity Accounting Financials (PBAF), supporting the development of methods and standards to integrate biodiversity into financial decision-making. Roel contributes to EU policy advocacy within the Finance for Biodiversity initiative and is engaged with frameworks such as PBAF, PCAF, TNFD, CSRD, and the EU Taxonomy. His focus is on helping financial institutions and corporates better understand their impacts and dependencies on nature and how these can be addressed in strategy, risk management, and reporting. He regularly shares insights on the business case for nature and ways to accelerate the transition towards a sustainable economy.
