Tuesday 24 February | 10:00 or 16:00 CET
We are delighted to invite financial institutions to the launch of our latest discussion paper on Sectoral Nature-Positive Pathways (NPPs), co-authored with our partners WWF-UK, Business for Nature, the Green Finance Institute and The Nature Conservancy.
In 2026, the publication of the IPBES Business and Biodiversity Assessment and preparations for the GBF Global Stocktake at UN Biodiversity COP17 create a timely opportunity to advance calls for Nature Positive Pathways as a government-led process to support a sustainable and resilient economy.
This discussion paper introduces the concept of NPPs as a practical, government-led approach that helps translate national biodiversity targets into clear, actionable and cost-effective roadmaps for priority sectors, guiding their sectoral transitions and mobilising finance.
The webinar will cover the key points from the paper and insights from experts on how sectoral pathways can enhance policy coherence, foster multi-stakeholder collaboration and clarify opportunities for the private sector.
