Launch of Five-Year Impact Report at FfB Summit
At the FfB Summit in December, we launched our first Impact Report. The report marks five years since the launch of the Finance for Biodiversity (FfB) Pledge and presents the aggregated progress of 126 Pledge signatories across banking, asset management, insurance, pension funds and impact funds. All 126 responded to the FfB Impact Survey which asked questions on the FfB Pledge’s five commitments on nature finance.
Programmes
We drive transformative action through various programmes, helping the finance sector to integrate nature into financial decision-making.
How to join
Whether you’re a bank or an investor, becoming a member of the Finance for Biodiversity Foundation means joining a global movement to align finance with nature’s future.
The Finance for Biodiversity Foundation offers two engagement pathways.
1. Sign the Pledge and become a member
Demonstrate leadership by signing the Finance for Biodiversity Pledge – a public commitment to protecting and restoring nature through your investment and finance activities. Once a signatory, institutions can become members of the Foundation to unlock collaborative opportunities & benefits.
2. The FfB Hub: New offering for non-Pledge signatories
The FfB Hub is designed for institutions that do not want to or cannot sign the Pledge but are committed to taking meaningful steps towards action for nature. From January 2026, it will support building knowledge, capacity, and action on biodiversity – at any stage of your nature journey.
