Exclusively for FfB members and Nature Action 100 investors.
The Finance for Biodiversity (FfB) Foundation is pleased to launch a new Investor Engagement Brief on Nature focused on the Biotech and Pharmaceutical sector, one of the eight high-impact sectors identified by Nature Action 100 (NA100), and part of the Investor Engagement Brief Series.
About the brief
The series provides practical guidance for investors on engaging with high-impact sectors to achieve the greatest impact on nature. The Pharmaceutical sector alone accounts for approximately 4% of total biodiversity impacts among companies in the MSCI World Index, highlighting the importance of informed engagement to reduce impacts on land, water, emissions and waste.
As part of this series, participants will gain insight into:
- Practical engagement strategies and questions for investor–company dialogue
- How the sector can contribute to achieving the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) targets
We have / will be publishing briefs on the following sectors:
- Chemicals
- Forestry, Paper & Packaging
- Food & Agriculture
