On 26 May 2026, the Government of the Netherlands, Finance for Biodiversity Foundation, Robeco and WWF Netherlands convened leading representatives from the financial sector and policy community in Rotterdam for Inside the TFFF: An Exclusive Investor Convening. The event was endorsed by the Tropical Forest Investment Fund (TFIF) Transition Committee, co-chaired by the Governments of Brazil and Norway, and supported by the World Bank.
The convening was one of the first large-scale investor dialogues focused on the Tropical Forest Forever Facility (TFFF) and its potential to scale finance for the protection of tropical forests.
Around 100 participants attended the event both online and in person, including more than 50 representatives from global financial institutions, alongside policymakers and civil society organisations. Discussions explored the TFFF’s potential to mobilise large-scale private capital for tropical forest conservation, with a particular focus on the Facility’s design, investment case, governance arrangements, and role in advancing finance for nature.
