DESCRIPTION
Since the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) was launched in late 2022, there has been a notable increase in investor action to address global biodiversity goals and growing awareness of nature-related dependencies, impacts, risks, and opportunities across the private sector, as evidenced by the hundreds of businesses that have adopted the TNFD recommendations. While the findings of the GBF’s progress report show implementation is happening, it’s not at the pace or scale required to meet the framework’s targets, mobilise transformational change and protect long-term value creation.
During this expert panel discussion, hear about the progress and lessons learned from investors participating in leading investor initiatives to achieve these objectives. Attendees will gain insight into how investors are using comprehensive approaches to encourage key corporate and government actions and how supportive policy can accelerate their efforts around the world.
More details on the programme will follow.
