DESCRIPTION
From COP15 to COP17, nature-related data has evolved rapidly. Investors and financial institutions now have access to new tools and datasets, including geospatial information, location-based risk assessments, corporate disclosures and open-source models such as ENCORE, enabling a more sophisticated understanding of nature-related dependencies, impacts and risks. Yet significant challenges remain. How do we move from nature exposure metrics to real financial insight? How can investors distinguish between exposure, vulnerability and financial materiality? What information is needed from companies, and how can financial institutions use these insights to influence capital allocation and engagement strategies? Bringing together leaders from finance, business, data providers and civil society, this session will explore how nature-related information can be translated into practical decision-making and what steps are needed to accelerate the integration of nature into financial markets.
