Engagement with Companies
About this working group
The Engagement with Companies working group members share experiences and new developments and explore biodiversity-related corporate engagement.
Objective:
Drive positive change by encouraging corporates to align their activities with biodiversity goals.
Our work:
In 2022, the working group published its guide on engagement with companies regarding biodiversity, including a translation of the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) goals and targets into engagement questions. A subgroup also developed detailed briefs on engagement with companies in 10 different sectors, only available for members. In 2025, the working group updated its Overview of Engagement Initiatives for financial institutions, and it is working on updating five of the 10 sector engagement briefs.
