200 Pledge signatories
The Finance for Biodiversity Pledge was launched by a group of 26 financial institutions on 25 September 2020. Since then, the number of signatories has grown substantially to around 200. This expanding community represents a network of global finance leaders committed to taking action on biodiversity.
A commitment to nature-positive finance
Biodiversity loss is one of the greatest risks facing our planet—and our economies. Financial institutions have a crucial role to play in reversing this trend by aligning their investments and strategies with nature-positive outcomes. The Finance for Biodiversity Pledge unites forward-thinking financial institutions in a shared commitment to protecting and restoring nature.
Signing the Pledge
Any financial institution can sign the Pledge by completing the application form. We organise several new signatory launching moments per year. Upon signing the Pledge, your organisation can also become a member of the Foundation and be active in one or more working groups.
