Understanding a company’s nature-related dependencies, impacts, risks and opportunities is the starting point for identifying where action matters most. This session will explore how sectoral roadmaps can help businesses translate that understanding into practical action and measure the progress against action.
Drawing on examples from different sectors, the discussion will explore how WBCSD’s Nature Action Portal can support companies through this journey. It will then turn to the role of finance, exploring what investors expect to see from companies, how sector-specific investor guidance can support engagement and decision-making, and how finance can help accelerate action. The session will close by considering what is needed to strengthen and scale credible, measurable nature action across sectors.
