Hadrien Gaudin-Hamama announced as co-chair of the positive impact working group

Hadrien Gaudin-Hamama (Mirova) is the new co-chair of the Positive Impact working group of the Finance for Biodiversity Foundation.  Within this working group, financial institutions will identify and promote solutions and frameworks for positive impact, supporting the identification of biodiversity assets and helping to mobilise financial resources toward the conservation, restoration, and sustainable use of nature.

The foundation is an official observer member of the CBD, as well as a member of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) Advisory Committee on Resource Mobilisation,  which means that the working group can advocate for solutions to achieve Target 19 of the Global Biodiversity Framework, aiming to mobilise $200bn USD per year, from all sources, to implement biodiversity strategies and action plans.

In 2024, the Positive Impact working group will also share knowledge and best practices in order to guide private funding allocation for nature.

Other working groups of the FfB foundation are:

  • Engagement with Companies, co-chaired by Sonya Likhtman (federated Hermes Limited) and Arthur van Mansvelt (Achmea IM)
  • Impact Assessment, chaired by Steve Freedman (Pictet Group)
