Thomas Maddox has been working on the interface between business and biodiversity for over 25 years. He has an MBA from the University of Cambridge Judge Business School and a PhD in Ecology and Anthropology from University College London. He spent twenty years working for a variety of not for profit institutions including ZSL, CISL, WWF, FFI and the World Bank, predominantly based in South East Asia and Africa. He joined CDP in 2021 and is now the Director of Nature. CDP is the world’s largest disclosure platform, working with close to 25,000 companies, cities, states and regions to provide investors, major buyers and policy makers with the data they need to drive environmentally sustainable decision making.
