Real Assets

About this working group

The Real Assets working group unites financial institutions, experts, and partners to embed nature considerations into real asset portfolios.

Objective:
Equip financial institutions with structured methods to integrate nature into infrastructure, real estate, and natural capital investments.

Our work:
In 2025 and 2026, the group will work on impact assessment, nature taxonomy, and target-setting for real assets, recognising their direct and measurable interactions with nature. This work will result in practical tools and a Real Assets Guidance that support investors in assessing impacts, managing risks, and identifying opportunities to align capital flows with global biodiversity goals.
