World Climate Investment Summit
Panel Session 1B: Sovereign Risks, Climate, Biodiversity and Capital Markets
26 June | 10.30 – 11.10 | London Stock Exchange
The World Climate Investment Summit is a flagship event of London Climate Action Week, hosted by the World Climate Foundation and the London Stock Exchange. It provides a crucial platform for strategic stakeholder engagement, thought leadership, transition strategies, and best practices to mobilise global climate finance.
As biodiversity loss increasingly impacts economic stability, financial institutions must integrate nature-related risks into their investment strategies. Alongside a panel of financial experts, Natacha Boric (Head of Policy and Impact, Finance for Biodiversity) will evaluate how biodiversity-linked bonds, sovereign debt instruments, and ESG frameworks can drive nature-positive economic growth. The panel will provide policy recommendations and present investment solutions that mitigate sovereign risks while enhancing environmental resilience.
Join the conversation with:
- Natacha Boric (Head of Policy and Impact, Finance for Biodiversity)
- Asa Mossberg (Head of Sustainability, AP2)
- Irina Likhachova (Global Biodiversity and Nature Finance, IFC)
- Kieran Brophy (Sovereign Climate, LSEG)
- Beatriz Merino (Director of Financial Institutions EU, The Nature Conservancy).
